The St. Regis Mexico City is offering guests the opportunity to partake in a completely personalized dining experience with their newly launchedTasting Traditions. Executive Chef Guy Santoro is setting himself a challenge by collaborating with guests in curating an entirely customized menu. He will draw inspiration from guests own favorite dishes, whether an old family recipe of a culinary travel discovery to create a five-course dinner for the entire party.

Not only being faced with a culinary challenge, Santoro will be put to the clock as he is given a limited time span of only six hours to plan, prepare and present each Tasting Traditions vision.

Once completed, the feast will be served to diners in Mexico’s smallest  restaurant, The Decanter Room.  Guests will be treated with live music and expert wine pairings presented in Riedel decanters to complement each course and complete the dining experience.

Guests can choose from The Decanter Room’s two signature tasting menus as well as the newly-launched Tasting Traditions dinner service, with pricing beginning at $450 per person, including wine pairings.  The Tasting Traditions service is available daily from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. for parties of four to 12 guests, and requires eight-hour advance reservation.
